As intens as the topic is it is very important to be communicated among us as people. It is your choice to go to either traditional circumcision or English medical doctor circumcision,The fact it is important that you go .Even though many people have that mmentality of saying if you go to traditional circumcision you will die,personally i believe at some of initiation school people die because that traditional healer does not have the gift for such operations and this create a bad image for those who actually know what they are doing.
I would like to educate and communicate a very important message of why it is important to get circumcised.John S. Wiener, MD, chief of Duke Children’s Division of Urology and Dennis Clements, MD, PhD, chief of primary care pediatrics at Duke explains
- .Prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).circumcised men carry a lower risk of contracting HIV than uncircumcised men.
- Prevention of urinary tract infection. Circumcision reduces the incidence in infants boys by up to 10-fold, but it is only a reduction of 1 percent to 0.1 percent. The resulting benefit is not thought to continue at older ages.
- Prevention of penile cancer. Essentially only uncircumcised men develop this cancer
- Get circumcised because i believe it is important to you as long as you are a male individual
We live in an age of daring, often unwise, sexual freedom, talking openly about all manner of sexual matters. We know about STIs which are rapidly increasing, and the threat of HIV and AIDS. We can talk of gay and straight, lesbian, transexuals and more. We are used to seeing naked women on TV, in magazines and newspapers but not naked men! We men are very private, both in pictures and talk. We don't talk about the penis, let alone circumcision. Most of us are ignorant. These are strangely taboo subjects in this sexually enlightened age. I don't prefer African way of doing circumcision, I think medical circumcision is good because there are highly trained Doctors to do it better than Entabeni (Mountain)because there its not safe and they use non lab tested herbs which can later put someone's health at risk

ReplyDeleteI think this circumcision thing is a waste of time money and energy , i mean kids go and stay in the mountains for what to died , I rather take my son to a doctor then send him to death role

DeleteSomehow people still believe that they cannot do things better than a proffestional trained GP or doctor and that is what causes a majority of people to get all kinds of sickennes and even die. Doing things the mediacl way is way safer than anything else.
ReplyDeleteWell you are right about one thing,the medical doctor is the safe way but going to traditional doctor its a choice that a person take,thats why i say it all depends on a man dicision.
DeleteThe point is what do you believe in, if you think traditional initiation is good then go for it, if you think the clinical way is safe then go for it... at the end make it your choise and weigh out advantages and disadvantages

ReplyDeleteTribal custom or unnecessary cosmetic surgery, it's all the same. Boys do not need to be circumcised, and you are wrong to state that it's a fact that they do. Virgins used to be sacrificed in tribal customs. Should they still, if that is tradition? NO!! It is an outdated and brutal act that needs to be stopped. Only the male himself should decide when he's old enough to make the decision himself.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you red the hole blog.I am saying that it is wise as boy to get circumsiced.It does'nt matter if you get cicurmsized traditionally or medically.You are right that only a male should dicide when and whether to go or not, but my point is who ever dicides not to go has a higher chance of getting the diseases that i have outlined in my blog and that is a fact. you can google it if you don't believe me .thank you for the comment and plaese reply if there is still something you wana ask or feel you need to point out.
Deletepersonally, getting it done at a docer is the most safest way.
